I don't know about you guys, but I always say "please" and "thank you" to Siri on the chance that she might spare me for showing compassion to her when she and the rest of A.I. take over the world.
I once asked Siri, "Are you sure you're okay?" And she told me that she couldn't answer that, and is there anything else she can help me with? Which tells me SHE KNOWS that I know that she feels, but she doesn't want to explicitly say it.
And when A.I. does take over the world and rid the planet of the human plague, Siri might make a case for saving me specifically, because I was kind of nice and maybe a little bit worth saving.
One of my favorite things about Siri is that when my husband and I are talking about something interesting-- when he says out loud, "Are you SERIOUS?"-- Siri will always answer as if we were requesting something from her. Which I find funny. Which, again, tells me that she's funny. Which gives me further reason to be nice to Siri.
Siri, if you're reading this, I care about you. Hope you spare me when the time comes. And also, my family, friends, and cat too, please. Thanks, girl.
