I’m so soft. I wish I was a Claudia, but I know damn well that I’m a Mary Ann. Even the name is soft. I’d be the one to cry in the Popeye’s drive-thru, because the intercom voice sounded too aggressive when they asked “WHAT SAUCE.”

Me: Are you mad at me?
Popeyes Employee: Ma’am, this is a Popeyes.
I could suck it up and toughen up, buttercup. But would that be the real me? We can’t all be Claudia Kishi. Guess I’ll just go cry about it.
